Built Right from the Frame Out
4B+ Horizontal Mailboxes
Florence 1400 series front-loading wall units, recessed into apartment mail rooms and lobbies.
A recessed 4B+ or 4C bank needs a square wood frame inside the wall. We build the opening to the manufacturer's rough-in dimensions, then set the boxes square so every door opens cleanly and the trim sits flush.
1570 CBU Pedestal Units
Freestanding cluster box units for courtyards, breezeways and single-family streets, anchored to a level concrete pad.
The units are bolted to a pedestal and anchored to that pad. We set them plumb and level so the doors and parcel lockers operate the way the post office expects.
Do you replace old mailboxes at existing apartment complexes?
Yes. We remove worn or damaged units and install new USPS-approved mailboxes, including framing changes when the new units are a different size than the old opening.
Do you install mailboxes for new construction?
Yes. We work with builders and general contractors on new multifamily and single-family projects, from 4C wall units to CBU pedestals.
Can you repair a mailbox instead of replacing it?
Often. Tenant door locks, hinges and parcel locker doors can usually be repaired or replaced on their own. We will tell you when a full replacement makes more sense.
